Steve Dénommée is big on CanCon, playing a variety of acoustic based rock and folk rock tunes with a focus on Canadian artists.


In addition to his solo work, Steve is also the front man for the Burlington, Ontario based quartet Bare Blue Sea, a tribute to great Canadian pop/rock music from "our home and native land".  Steve also fronts The Hus-Band, performing songs of the 50's and 60's for seniors.

Steve began playing before appreciative audiences in 1996 in intimate coffee houses as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of Blink! the Duo. As Blink! expanded with Steve as the front man, the new quartet began playing various sized pubs, and by invitation at several special engagements throughout the Quinte, Northumberland and Prince Edward County areas in Eastern Ontario.

Before amicably disbanding in 2000, Blink! was a favourite act on several festival stages as part of Brighton’s annual Applefest celebrations and Concert in the Park series, Trenton’s Summer Days and Concert in the Park series, and at the Belleville Waterfront Festival. Blink! had the honour of opening for Junkhouse and Spirit of the West at the festival in 1997.
